Professional Experience
Many attorneys are litigators, few are trial lawyers. Micheal Winchester has taken more than 120 jury trials to verdict in 26 Texas counties. He has handled cases in virtually every county in the State of Texas. His success rate is exceptionally high as a result of his tenacity in the courtroom, strong moral compass, and sound work ethic. Mike’s reputation as a trial lawyer is unsurpassed.
Every client—individual, corporation, or insured—benefits from the personal attention and care Mike devotes to each case. He has tried cases with catastrophic injuries including brain damage, paralysis, and death. He has also represented large and small companies whose continued survival was at stake.
Mike has been practicing law for over 30 years. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law, though his practice covers a much broader array of litigation. In addition to state court litigation, he is admitted to practice in U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas. Mike is also qualified as a court appointed mediator pursuant to Section 154.052 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code, and further for mediation of family cases involving disputes relating to the parent-child relationship as addressed by Section 154.052.
